In 2016, St. Matthew’s closed its first-ever capital campaign, completing a $25M campaign to build new facilities and grow enrollment.
Following a comprehensive strategic planning process in 2008, there was strong community consensus that St. Matthew's should prepare for long-term growth and capital improvements. With much planning and coordination with The Episcopal Church of St. Matthew, The Campaign for St. Matthew’s was launched in 2011.
Today, we are proud to have the new Early Childhood Center for our preschool and pre-kindergarten (opened 2013), and St. Matthew’s Hall, the new home for our middle school (opened 2014). This campaign has been transformational for our community of learners and today, the classrooms are filled with joyful noise and engaged students as we grow into our new spaces.
In these new facilities, including a home gym, a spacious and welcoming library, maker lab and state-of- the-art classrooms, dedicated teachers are able to fulfill our mission to inspire innovation and create leaders of positive change.
