St. Matthew’s has a strong reputation for preparing its graduates to thrive in the finest secondary schools. Our graduates are accepted to a wide variety of educational institutions throughout the Bay Area and other parts of the nation.
The process of getting to know each student begins the moment they enroll at St. Matthew’s. During the eighth grade year, the formal process of helping our students find the best secondary school match begins. Each eighth grade family receives personalized high school guidance counseling led by the Head of School and faculty counselors. In addition, test preparation and critical analysis skills are regularly incorporated into all academic subjects. St. Matthew’s graduates regularly place into advanced and honors level courses in their respective college preparatory programs.
