St. Matthew’s is committed to making our educational program available to families of all economic backgrounds. Our goal is that no mission appropriate student be deterred due to financial limitations. One way we do this is through our Tuition Assistance Program.
Application for tuition assistance is made through the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), which is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). More than 2,400 K-12 schools and organizations use SSS across the country to help assess a family's ability to pay for independent education and to help families feel confident that their request for tuition assistance is being treated objectively and professionally.
To be considered for tuition assistance, parents are asked to visit the NAIS website
and complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). The submission deadline for the PFS application is January 31st
of each application year. SSS charges a nominal, non-refundable application fee to complete the process. The SSS PFS portal to apply for assistance is available to all families beginning in mid-December.
