We welcome children from all religious and non-religious backgrounds. Approximately 10-15% of our student body is Episcopalian. St. Matthew's Episcopal is committed to serving a diverse student body representing a variety of cultural, economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
The Learning Center is a resource for students, parents, and teachers. We also have a School Counselor on staff who works with teachers, parents, students, and administration, to assist in identifying strategies and best practices to promote student social/emotional progress. Parents are encouraged to volunteer with the Day School Parents' Association. The DSPA coordinates many volunteer “fun and fundraising” opportunities. In addition, there are a number of program-related field trips, community service experiences for parents and students to participate in together. More details here.
