GYMNASTICS CHAMPION
St. Matthew's 7th Grade student, Christopher Luey took All-Around First Place in the Northern California State Gymnastics Competition for Level 7 and was chosen to represent Northern California as an All Star Team member in the Regional Competition against 4 other states/regions (Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii, Southern California). He took All-Around First Place in the Regionals. Congratulations Christopher!
AUTHOR MEETS WITH STUDENTS
David Schwartz, author of over 50 children's books, was featured at St. Matthew's Author's Day. David, perhaps best known for How Much Is a Million?, is an accomplished storyteller and a master at getting children to think and have fun at the same time. His presentations lead children on entertaining and educational journeys that combine math, science, reading and writing.
