Giant Traveling map of North America comes to St. Matthew's
The St. Matthew's community welcomed National Geographic's Giant Traveling Map of North America from to the school this week.
Each class researched an indigenous people native to our continent through the lens of present day life and answered questions about
the traditional regions one would locate these tribes or this group of indigenous people; where they can be found today and what their culture and traditions are. During the Gallery Walks, students, teachers and parents got to explore the map and read the class research boards.
